How does hypnosis work?

Is hypnotherapy safe?
When conducted by a qualified professional, hypnotherapy is generally considered safe. However, it may not be suitable for everyone, particularly those with certain mental health conditions, such as severe depression or psychosis.
What conditions can hypnotherapy help with?
Hypnotherapy can be beneficial for a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, stress management, lack of will power, sleep disorders, pain relief, phobias, and even weight loss. It can also aid in habit change, such as quitting smoking or overcoming compulsive behaviors.
How many sessions are needed?
The number of hypnotherapy sessions required varies depending on the individual and the issue being addressed. Some people may find relief after just a few sessions, while others may require a more extended treatment plan. At minimum we suggest ~5 sessions per issue.
Will I be unconscious during the session?
No, individuals under hypnosis are not unconscious. They remain aware of their surroundings and maintain control over their actions. Hypnosis is a state of focused attention, not a loss of consciousness. You can get a taste of this during consultation.
Can anyone be hypnotized?
Most people can experience hypnosis when they are open to it and guided by a skilled hypnotherapist. However, it is not possible to hypnotize someone who is unwilling, as hypnosis requires their consent and cooperation.
Is a virtual hypnosis session as effective as in-person hypnosis session?
Yes! As long as you have a stable internet connection. A client can feel more comfortable in their own space, making it easier for them to relax into hypnosis.
